Our Journey
Sarah's creative awakening came later in life, after an ADHD diagnosis prompted a meaningful shift in priorities. Having spent her career in hard sciences—with a background in biochemistry, cardiovascular perfusion, military service, and government intelligence work—this artistic turn in her mid-forties represented a complete transformation. The analytical mind that once focused on precise scientific processes now finds joy in the intuitive, expressive world of furniture artistry. This dramatic life change has brought a happiness and fulfillment she'd never experienced before, proving it's never too late to discover your true calling.
Meanwhile, Susan had been nurturing her creative talents since childhood—her first handmade quilt, completed at just eleven years old, is now a treasured heirloom. Susan possesses an extraordinary eye for design and an impressive breadth of crafting knowledge, from the technical details of which screws to use to the artistry of flower arranging. Her home looks like a magazine layout, showcasing her natural ability to bring together colors, textures, and elements in perfect harmony. Beyond her expertise in sewing and craftwork, she creates stunning gardens around her home, all while maintaining a full-time career. Her combination of technical skill and aesthetic vision makes her an invaluable creative partner.

Our Philosophy
